Players can choose one Tier 1 primary weapon, secondary weapon and armor during character creation.
All magic weapons require a Spellcast trait.

Tier 1

Shortsword - phy

Burden: One-Handed

Paired: +2 to primary weapon damage to targets within Melee range

Round Shield - phy

Burden: One-Handed
Attack: Melee Strength d4 phy
Protective: +1 to Armor Score

Tower Shield - phy

Burden: One-Handed
Attack: Melee Strength d6 phy
Barrier: +2 to Armor Score; −1 to Evasion

Small Dagger - phy

Burden: One-Handed
Attack: Melee Finesse d8 phy
Paired: +2 to primary weapon damage to targets within Melee range

Whip - phy

Burden: One-Handed
Attack: Very Close Presence d6 phy
Startling: Mark a Stress to crack the whip and force all adversaries within Melee range back to Close range.

Grappler - phy

Burden: One-Handed
Attack: Close Finesse d6 phy
Hooked: On a successful attack, you can pull the target into Melee range.

Hand Crossbow - phy

Burden: One-Handed
Attack: Far Finesse d6+1 phy
